I heard that there was a new ’77 Hot Wheels die cast out at Toys R Us. Well, when I went to a local O’Reilly Auto Parts Store today I found this...

We are releasing a Screamin’ Chicken Chasers (SCC) die cast. Several people have pre-ordered and we are getting ready to ship the first batch. If you would like to see how ours were made click below.

The die cast cost $3.99 or $4.99...I'll see if I still have my ticket.

Looks like a good execution on the body and tampos, but those wheels are waaayyy out of scale. Makes the Big Time series rims and tires look reasonable!

For those awaiting the release of a decent 3rd Gen (finally!), check out http://www.greenlighttoys.com

There are several 1989 models available in both 1:64 and 1:18. Look under the 'Muscle Car Garage' series, 'Black Bandit' series, 'Pace Car Garage' series and 'SpeedTV' series.
