... feel free to edit as necessary:
Annual 'Bluebonnet Run' with the GTO Club - one of only two times in ten years Gray Ghost got rained on.
Early pics of Gray Ghost - circa 1998
Sorry for the low quality, this was pre-digital and I had to scan 35mm prints.
Getting painted, circa June, 2000.
Drove the car for about a year without the decals, trying hard to decide whether or not to apply them.
In late 2001, a buddy and I applied the decals ourselves in an afternoon. I had bought a set from Phoenix Grafix prior to the restoration and stored them carefully. I recommend Phoenix Grafix decals above all others.
Fun with Diecast!
Some details
Modified shaker - it's opened up, sits higher in the hole and clears a modified air filter assembly to allow a cooler intake charge. Also note the 160 MPH speedometer from a '72 T/A, integrated trip odometer from Gray Ghost's original 80 mph unit.
Underhood detailing.
Brake detailing.
I also collect Trans Am/Firebird Diecast.

Rich, if I haven't done so yet, you have my permission to use any of the pics of my cars that I put in any posts. I figured that'd be easier then posting a whack of them here.

Here are my pictures, and with my whole hearted permission.
The white and red T/As are mine, and the black GTA is my sons car.
The TATA was my wifes car back in the 80s.
We traded it in on my red 83.

Great pics guys! I especially like the gold '78 (and the quote from the Muscle Car Bible ). Afraid he already finished the vid, but maybe if we ask nice he'll get started on part 2.
