81 TA original color in and out. 5.0 L replaced with 5.7 full roller alum headed ZZZ crate engine. Heads, cam, intake, carb and pistons upgraded.
TH350, 3:42 posi and 4 wheel disc. I've owned this car for about 13 years and have been working on it off and on over the years. Did a major on it in 2006. I really like the car but will likely be movin to a 4th gen sometime soon so I will likely have to sell her

What a beauty! Moving on to a 4th gen? What???
Why? I love the 4th gens but the 2nd gens win over all of them to me. It's a shame that she has to leave. You can tell that you poured your heart and soul out into her. _________________ 1979 Pontiac Firebird Redbird

As its already been said, thats a nice car!
Me personally id keep it instead of replacing with a younger version, better still have both! _________________ The V8 made me do it officer!

Ya, I've seen you in Woodside. I haven't made it down to any of the cruise-ins yet this year.
I was thinking of going to the Porter's Lake show this weekend, but I think I'll be going to Miramichi for the Extreme Street Car Shootout.
This is my Bird.

As someone who owns both a 2nd and a 4th Gen, I would strongly advise you against selling it. You'll regret having done so, especially if you lose the opportunity to buy it back.
4th Gens are awesome, make no mistake about it! But there's nothing quite like the charisma and style of motoring around in a clean 2nd Gen. And yours is off-the-charts amazing! Love it!

| cant beleive you could dream of selling it . at the least put it in storage for a year and see how much you miss it . new cars are nice but they cant give you the feel of a true muscle car.
