|
Hey guys!
Went to a local junkyard owned by a friend of mine and she has a '79 Turbo TA that I took some parts off of. Anyone need anything?
The car is mostly complete, minus the parts I took for my own car. It still has the flares, spoiler, dash bezel, etc.
The interior is all there but it is shot, nothing worth taking out. It is a T-top car. There are still salvageable parts. She is going to crush the car soon, so I thought I'd try to salvage what's left for you guys if needed before the car's gone.
If you need anything, shoot me a PM. Just pay the amount that she wants plus shipping and it's yours. _________________ 1979 Pontiac Firebird Redbird

That's the year she told me it was. It has the Turbo hood and everything. _________________ 1979 Pontiac Firebird Redbird

Will you cut some parts of it ? I would need each side's quarter panels upper ends like this (I'm in France) :
If possible with the metal pieces that fill the space between them and the tail panel.
How is the rear spoiler ? The driver floor panel and toe board ? _________________ François Martinez

Hi there Raptor,
I'll see what I can do for you. The rear spoiler is there and in good condition. As far as the floor panel, I wouldn't bother. It is in very rough shape. I'll try to get out there tomorrow morning and see what I can do for you. _________________ 1979 Pontiac Firebird Redbird

Raptor, I went and took a look at it yesterday and the part that you requested is there...but it's not in very good condition. There are some rust issues. _________________ 1979 Pontiac Firebird Redbird

Oh thanks, it's more than surface rust I guess ? _________________ François Martinez

Some of it is just surface rust, but not all of it. It has some pitting here and there. The body panels are not all that great to use on another car. There's a few parts left in the interior and under the hood that are still in saveable shape, but otherwise, it's not really worth it. _________________ 1979 Pontiac Firebird Redbird
