Gettin' Ready....this Stang was painted on Thursday and finished assembly Saturday 7AM right before we left.


Bill's 69 Mach 1, before this was cut up for a drag car this was an original 428 Cobra Jet car. (Bill wasn't the one to cut it up) NOtice the sky in the background.

This is Bangs Falls on the Medway River.

This church can't be much more then 24X30. It was built in 1907!

This is Hank The Flamer's car. The kids love it as he always shoots flames out the stack as he's lining up! He took my son out in the first round of eliminations then went on to win the Sportsman Class.




The Pro class gets to run first, so this is a shot of the first lineup for the day. I'm sitting 3rd back, behind the Nova

Notice the suspension height difference in these shots. The car certainly likes to get up on it!








This is a good shot of the tires wrinkling.






This one really sweet Bird that runs consistently in the 10's. It also does amazing wheelies leaving the line. It's a crowd pleaser that's for sure.








This is one NASTY Nova, it run's mid to low 8's






So that's it folks, the first weekend is done and the next one is on Father's Day weekend.

Wow, great pics, thanks for posting. That looks like a lot of fun!!

It was a blast! I've got a Barry Grant 775 double pumper to use for the next race so hopefully I'll run better and faster. It was leaning out bad on the top end and it flattened out really bad.

The best time I squeezed out of her was a disappointing 13.25@101.3 mph. I was really expecting better but now we know the carb was leaning out, I'll do better the next time.
